Population Mobility of animal and plant B-chromosomes under technogenous influence

Yuri M. Borisov, Elena N. Muratova

Abstract

This paper deals with studies on differentiation of number and morphology of B-chromosomes in typical animal and plant kingdoms representatives of Siberia (study case of convenient ecological and evolutional objects Apodemus peninsulae and Picea obovata). Process of population variability of B-chromosomes in the result of technogenous influence are shown. Repeated investigation of populations on the left bank of Yenisei river in the North from Krasnoyarsk and in Mountain Altai in 30 years showed increase of number B-chromosomes and change of  their morphological types. In Siberian spruce frequency of B-chromosomes is higher in city stands than in natural populations near Krasnoyarsk.
