It was shown the possibility of qualitative and quantitative determination of some of the female sex steroid hormones and their analogues in the form of methyl esters by the  method of chromatography-mass spectrometry. It was calculated detection limits of investigated steroid hormones and their methyl esters using the method of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Found that after the derivatization's reaction the limit of quantification of these substances is reduced on average by 3 times.
