Abstract

The composition and structure of the solid and soluble products of peroxide birch wood delignification in the presence of TiO2 catalyst was studied. The effective delignification proceeds at 100 ° C, atmospheric pressure and obtained microcrystalline cellulose (yield 48.2% mass.), crystallinity index of 0.81 and containing 93.7% mass. cellulose, 5.5% mass. hemicelluloses, 0.5% mass. lignin. Soluble products of peroxide birch wood delignification presented 4-O-methyl-glyukuronoksilanom (84% rel.), monosaccharides and low content of aromatic compounds.
