Abstract
The method of liquid scintillation spectrometry has been used to investigate the influence of chemical and optical quenchers and heterogeneity on the efficiency of measuring tritium in environmental objects. It has been shown that efficiency of measuring tritium is significantly dependent upon the class of compounds and molecule structure and on the coloring power of the quenching agents and the degree of heterogeneity of the studied system.
