Abstract
A comparative analysis of the microstructure of protective oxide layers formed during high temperature isothermal oxidation (T = 1000 °C, 50 h) of commercial Ni-based single crystal alloys was carried out. The effect of cooling rate on the integrity of the metal/oxide interface and the damage behavior of oxide layers was established.
