SOCIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE TUVA FOLK SPORTS

Abstract. In the Russian Federation there are more than 40 different Nations that differ in state status, socio-economic development. Are the main creators of the cultural Foundation of humanity.

The study attempts to discover social functions of the Tuva folk sports (wrestling "Huresh", archery, horse racing). The system analysis allows to consider the problem as a social phenomenon, is seen in the context of all aspects of public life.

To social functions are student-directed education and development. Represent a great opportunity not only for physical development and athletic improvement, but also for moral, aesthetic, intellectual, labor education, spiritually-moral qualities.

Implementation of social functions depends not only from the traditional sports, but also on the orientation of the whole educational system and social development. Educational opportunity -- not in themselves, but through a system of social relations emerging in the sphere of physical culture and sports.
