The aim of the article was to study the existing mechanisms for enhancing investment activities in the Krasnoyarsk Krai. This work presents the analysis of the main indicators of the Krasnoyarsk Krai investment sphere, as well as it identifies a number of negative trends in the investment process in terms of the strategic development of the regional economy. Within the framework of the current investment policy this article considers the implemented financial and non-financial instruments and methods. We carried out the analysis of the regulatory and institutional support of investment activity in the region which has helped us to reveal the advantages and disadvantages of the existing measures of state support of investment nature. The information obtained indicates the necessity to review the directions of the implemented regional investment policy taking into account the world experience and the established positive practice of the Russian Federation subjects. In conclusion, the article suggests measures to improve regional investment mechanisms within the Asian vector of the Russian economy development.
