THE WORLD AT THE XXI CENTURY: THE VARIANTS OF WORLD ORDER

Evgeny Akhtamov, Denis Gergilev, Valerii Efimov

Abstract

The article focuses on the analysis of current trends in the system of international relations. The problems of future world-structure assume acute character, especially in the conditions of disappointment in globalization ideas. The authors analyse the reasons of unification tendencies at the second part of the XX century and the reasons of countries aspiration for more isolation and independence in the spheres of policy, economy and culture. The authors have considered the wide range of international relations possible tendencies: from single countries striving for isolation to single countries intention to create coalitions based on mutual economic interests. The authors argue trans-regional economic partnerships will be the most widespread form of countries’ associations in the decades ahead.
