Abstract
This work considers the place of the project approach in the system of management sciences, and also provides a brief description of the processes of its formation and development. Through the conducted content analysis of 40 web resources, an extremely low involvement of sports facilities in the Krasnoyarsk Territory in the project activities was established. Thus, only 45% of sports facilities have signs of project activities. At the same time, only 10% of sports facilities implement their own projects. By means of correlation and graphical analysis it is established that the involvement of sports facilities in the Krasnoyarsk Territory in project activities is not a significant factor in their effectiveness (the correlation coefficient is not more than 2%). At the same time, economic modeling conducted with the example of the project «Horseback riding in the eco-park Gremyachaya griva» shows the unrealized opportunities of the project approach as a significant factor in the effectiveness of sports facilities.
