The State of NAD- and NADP-Dependent Dehydrogenases Activity in Neutrophilic Granulocytes in Sportsmen in the Course of a Training Cycle
Abstract
Evaluation of health level can’t be adequate without applying the criteria characterizing reactivity of neutrophilic granulocytes in blood, one of the main systems that ensure morphological homeostasis and defense reactions of a human organism.
Research of neutrophilic granulocytes metabolism in sportsmen is extremely vital. The matter is that regulatory and humor reactions of a human organism significantly change neutrophilic granulocytes reactivity at a high level of physical activity peculiar to sport of outstanding achievements (Bazarin, 2011). Clear understanding of cell and molecular mechanisms of adaptation to intensive motion activity is the key to development of systems of sports selection, individual training and functional state correction (Izmerov, 2011; Córdova, 2010).
The present research is focused on metabolic reactions of neutrophilic granulocytes in the blood of sportsmen, representatives of various sports in dynamics (in the course of a year) and at different phases of a year-long training micro cycle. It turned out that metabolic reactions of neutrophilic granulocytes are significantly disturbed at the period of tiredness. This reduces their functional and regulatory capacity. The period of rest is not accompanied by sufficient recovery of disturbed reactions.
