Abstract
In this article possible ways to improve the quality of repair castings are discussed. The CO2-process used in the enterprise is analyzed and concludes that it is impossible to ensure the quality of castings. Authors offered modernization of production technology rods through the use of "cold" rods as the most appropriate for this type of production.
