Abstract

The redox processes proceeding in the organic phase at cobalt extraction with mixtures bis(2,4,4-trimethylpentyl)dithiophosphinic acid (HR, trade mark CYANEX 301) and octyl amine (ОА) are studied. It is shown, that reduction of Co (III) dithiophosphinate to Co (II) dithiophosphinate in the presence of ОА proceeds very quickly: for 10 minutes cobalt reduces on 94 %, whereas in other systems (СоR3 and СоR3 + trioctyl amine, ТОА) for this period cobalt reduction practically was not observed (
