Abstract
The article analyzes history of development and legislative embodiment of Modern era natural law ideas, the role of law interpretation in these processes. The author comes to conclusion that European legislation was modernized as a result of natural law theory creation and its explanation by great Modern era philosophers (Grotius, Russo, Montesquieu, etc.). It caused the appearance and distribution of legality, humanism, equality principles in statutory and case law.
