The early story, we are talking about, the violence is not realized, the episode is minor, it doesn't affect the development of the plot, but in the final story the violence becomes the plot-constructing element, which determines the fate of the characters. The situations are decided in opposite ways, this fact suggests the rethinking of provisions, formed the basis of the writer's worldview. The chronotope, the image of others, the ability of the family and the community to protect, gender roles - all this suggests a radically different solution of conflicts in the later work. Analysis of recurring themes seems promising for understanding the transformation of V. Rasputin's artistic worldview, reveals to the relevant categories, to track changes.
