On the based of results of researching a processes of synthesis and sintering a silicon oxide powder, technological conditions of producing crucibles for silicon melting were developed. Ceramic crucibles were obtained by slip casting method. They consist of two layers: outside layer – from fused quartz, inside – from high-clean synthetic silica.
